Saturday, July 2nd, 7-10PM: Klyde Warren Park's Independence Day Celebration
What the website says, “There will be live music from the 36th Infantry Division Band, Fourth of July treats and fireworks. Kick off the festivities with the army group’s brass band at 7 PM, followed by Rhythm & Boots at 8 PM and then a full patriotic concert at 8:45 PM. Going to a fireworks show? Make sure to bring ear protection for the little ones and leave your animals inside at home!
The Best Party In Town?
The answer to this one is easy: whichever one you happen to be going to! The best part of 4th of July is getting together with family and friends to grill, swim, watch fireworks, see the parades, and enjoy a nice cocktail. Want to keep the party going all day long (and avoid a hangover)? Hydration. Hydration. Hydration.
If you’re not drinking, you should at least be getting 90 oz of water minimum. However, if you plan on drinking, make sure to have an extra glass of water for each alcoholic drink you consume (and even if you’re just enjoying a soda).
Happy Independence Day, everyone! Hillcrest Medical will be closing Saturday the 2nd through Monday the 4th so that employees can enjoy time with their friends and family on this national holiday. We will reopen Tuesday, the 5th for normal business hours.
